There are only 3 spots left for our Papa’s Paris Tour from June 17-25, 2017. We’d love to have you along for our leisurely stroll through Hemingway’s Paris, in which we’ll meet Papa himself at his favorite café, as well as Gertrude Stein, and F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, all in their favorite haunts! They will discuss, argue, dance, and generally hold forth as we go back in time to relive a bygone era. Call today in order to guarantee your room by May 15.
We'll visit Monet’s garden at Giverny because Papa loved Monet – who doesn’t – as well as the Musée d’Orsay where we’ll see the Cézannes, Manets, and Monets that inspired Hemingway to add a new dimension to his prose. And we’ll visit the Picasso Museum, dedicated to Papa’s good friend, in the trendy Marais district of Paris, do some lèche vitrine (licking the windows, i.e., window shopping), and have a bite at a cute neighborhood café. We'll also visit the Orangerie Museum, in which you can view Monet's giant water lily paintings in a specially designed oval room, along with other masterpieces of Impressionist art.
Let's not forget the nightlife! We'll dine, imbibe, and listen to music where Papa did. These are just an inkling of the sights, tastes, and sounds we’ll experience on our Papa’s Paris Tour.
For more information, see our tour page and our details page. If you’re local to Westchester, New York, I'd love to meet you in person at one of my talks on Hemingway’s Paris. Or just ring me up or drop me a line.
